INSPIRED BY CHALLENGES.
Every element of the motorbike excites me. From being a mechanic to taking part in my first Dakar. Every facet of the motorcycle world drives me forward with enthusiasm and experience.
From the age of 15 riding a Honda C90, I was bitten by the motorcycle bug. Stumbling across the Archway Project at a young age steered my new found desire towards racing and training to become a qualified as a mechanic. Shortly after this, I worked for several well-known motorcycles outfits in London. At 22 years of age, I became the chairman of the Archway Project and with it, I was accepted into the Under 23 British Enduro Squad, winning several competitions. After competing in many events in my twenties, I met my partner Louise in London, moved to South Wales, and started a successful business, Touratech UK.
Shortly after this, I set up the iconic Dawn to Dusk Enduro event, which attracts over 500 riders. In 2003 I became an instructor with BMW Off-Road Skills and inevitably stepped up to the biggest challenge of them all – the Dakar. Competing not once, but four times in total and holding the record for the youngest British rider to finish. Being an instructor-led to many opportunities including filming an HSBC advert, training Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman for the Long Way Round, the MOD, and Danny John Jules from Red Dwarf.
Several rallies, races, and tours I undertook over the next few years, culminating in running two more successful international events. The Valleys Xtreme, with top names riders from around the world, and the Touratech Travel Event in May. With no time to settle down, I embarked on the next stage of my life. getting married and having a family, one of the hardest races I’ve ever qualified for!

Over the years I have been blessed with riding alongside many experienced named riders, in many countries over multiple terrains. All this acquired knowledge and experience helping me to become the rider and instructor I am today.

Teaching the wealth of knowledge that I have accumulated allows me to show how great off-road riding truely is.

Running three successful international events for over fifteen years has showcased the reason I live and work in Wales.
